They drive through the busy roads to wide flyovers seeing the change of colors of cloud from yellow to pink-purplish.Jai started conversation by saying,Thanks for your yesterday note.Dhwani asked which one? He replied,the one with smiley.She was blushing this time.That was just random.He replied,but it made my day better actually.She smiled back.Then there was a silence again,Dhwani thought to ask about his parents but dropped the idea thinking it would hurt him recalling the memories.
She was lost in her thoughts looking outside the window,while Jai asked her,tell me about yourself,you are doing a lot for us and until now I don't know you.I am sorry,I didn't ask initially,you know the situtaions.She smiled,It's okay anyways I have nothing special to tell you about me.I have a small family,my mom,my Mehr di and our little love aadi, who is my di's child.My dad passed away years ago,he was music lover that's why he named me Dhwani.After he left,I had a wierd silence in my life,the emptiness soon became noise so I turned that noise into music and took myself into this profession.
Jai said,I am sorry.She replied,It's okay,Life happens.What about you? Jai replied,I dropped out of college because I always wanted to pursue my own business.My grandmaa was there always in all my odds and even.Dhwani asked,So do you have any buisness yet? He told her about his restaurant chain which has now branches in almost 12 states at several locations within states.She was amazed to hear this and asked What's the name of your restaurant? Jai replied, The Kashyap's Kitchen.She became quite,Jai asked what happen? She replied,nothing actually I have never been to there,It might be costly,I guess anyway you are genius,only few dropouts become successful entrepreneurs and you are one of them,Great!
They reached at their destination,it was high class colony of Delhi,he parked his car in his house garage while gate-keeper opened the doors.Dhwani's eyes brighten up seeing the mansion,it was like dream house for middle class family which remains dream their whole life.
They entered through big glass door into a huge lobby,the walls had few paintings undersigned with his name along with date.Dhwani asked out of excitement,Do you paint? I noticed wall painting has your name.He smiled shyly saying,Yeahh I used to do painting a bit but then college soon after that business so didn't got much time to have time for this since 3 years,I don't think I would be able to paint like this again.She replied,nothing like that,having close look to one of the women's empowerment painting you have magic in your hands and you would be able to put you magic on canvas anytime you start.
He called out his maid asking her to bring juice and snacks for us telling her that we are in grandma's room.The house looked expensive,Dhwani was looking around the house with child like eyes,as she was seeing this kind of house for the first time in her life.It had royal kind of furniture with quite decent and rich show piece,it was well decorated and had huge rooms at distance,in the centre of hall had a big dining table enough for at least 16 people,and had a beautiful chandelier in their drawing room.Then it was grandma's room just before the backyard which had glass door opening to it which made room enable to have a lot of ventilation and light.
The maid entered into their room with two glass of cold drink and some snacks.Jai asked her to leave it on table and asked Dhwani to have something to eat passing her cold drink into her hand said,So we are here looked around and say what we should take the hospital to make her hospital room look like her room in home.
Dhwani looked around observing the room imagining the hospital room and it's space as this room was quite big than back at hospital.After a while,he asked Jai to bring a box in which they could carry everything they want,he went to get the box,while Dhwani roamed around opened the glass door opening to their backyard,where she saw a beautiful swing in the middle of greenery and plants with colorful flowers.
Jai came back,she came back into room and start packing with him.She start pointing at things and Jai start picking them up,she pointed at the frame hanging on the wall with picture of his grandma and grandpa,then at the showpiece of lord Ganesha from which like fountain water was pouring into the cup like structure beneath,then at the book shelf asking him to pick up her favourite books,then at the framed drawing made by Jai in his childhood,and She picked up some old albums also kept at book shelf along with her books.
Jai looked at the money plant beside her bed which she used to water whose leaves were pale yellow now,Dhwani asked him to pick that up.Jai replied but I think,it is dead now,we can buy one while going back.Dhwani replied,take this one,this could be nurtured again with care.He smiled back to her and was impressed by her positive attitude towards everything.
He packed the stuff in the box and picked it up to place it into car,as he picked it up screamed a little in pain.Dhwani turned towards him and asked what happen? He replied nothing,she looked at his hand,there was round bluish circle around knuckle of his left hand.She became panic asked him.to place the box down and asked how this happened? He said,I don't know when I got hurt here.She looked at him fiercely saying don't lie with me,okay.I know you have banged your fist somewhere intentionally,don't worry I am not going to ask the reason.
The maid was going to kitchen taking plates back,Dhwani asked her to bring first aid box,made Jai sit down while maid bring the box.She found out a gel,taking Jai's hands into hers start putting ointment on blue bruises scolding him,I know I don't have any right to tell you this but still I am telling you do whatever you want to do in anger,don't you ever repeat this.Were you stupid while you did this? Jai kept listening while looking at her.Dhwani raised her voice saying are you listening to me? He replied,okay mam as you say,I won't repeat.
They went back listening to songs on FM,Dhwani was looking outside of the window at street lights,while Jai looked at her and thought to himself,It's just been few days with her and there is something special between us,it is surely not attachment,it's a start of bonding.Talking with himself,said Why I am feeling a connection with her already? Like I can share anything with her.She listens to me,helping me in fulfilling last wish,scold me for my wrongs,makes me smile even when she is not around and above all she loves darling.He smiled to himself and said,Dhwani can we be friends? Dhwani turned back to him with a cute smile,replied of course we can putting her hand forward for a handshake.He shaked hands with her and smiled back.
They reached hospital and found grandma still resting,while doctor came for checkup told Jai,she is fine,will shift her back in her room soon.Both made their way to her room and before she could have wake up .Soon they were done with their setting of the room,and when they looked around their was smile of their faces as it was giving feel exactly like they had back at home.
Jai became so excited raised his hand in air for high-five,Dhwani looked his happy face gave him high-five saying you are quick learner everywhere.Both laughed.
