Jai went home to get ready for the eve, grandma asked him to wear lemon coloured shirt,she had gifted him on completion of 5 years of his restaurant chain along with blue denim and snickers to make him look more casual.Darling have told him,simplicity is what Dhwani loves.While coming back,he picked up the pendant and thanked them to arrange it even on last-minute call.
Darling saw him coming said,Jai you are looking so handsome,may god keep away evil's eye from my child.He smiled saying,I always look good to you because you love me so much,I am looking normal.She replied,you always say like this.They both chuckled.
Dhwani was all worried thinking what to wear,putting all the clothes she had in closet out,start calling Di, please come,I need your expert advice.Di replied coming just dropping off Aadi downstairs to mumma.Di came after few minutes,seeing room's condition said,Dhwani are you going to wear all of this? She said Di,c'mon help me out.I wanted to look special,not usual Dhwani.For the first time,he has asked me out and it's my birthday eve.Di start folding her clothes saying,Do you want to look good for your birthday eve or for Jai? You first please decide.She laughed saying,both.
Di said,I know it's for Jai.Now don't hide.She laughed,Di please help na.Mehr said,okay baba,why don't you try that skirt which we bought last year from Delhi Haat but you never had actually wore that.She replied,yes it didn't come into my mind,Di thankyou,you are amazing,I could pair it with a tee or shirt.It will look perfect for eve and more simple.Di said,now get ready before you get late and don't forget to invite him for tomorrow house birthday party.
Jai was feeling quite nervous about his look and day forward.He wanted it to be great,then he received a text from Dhwani,I am about to reach in 10 minutes,got stuck in traffic to which he replied,It's okay,I am waiting upstairs,practicing meet me at terrace.
Jai was practicing "lag ja gale" chords,he heard someone walking up,he looked behind it was Dhwani,she was looking absolutely stunning in navy blue long skirt,with white plain shirt with little embroidery at the cufflinks tucked inside the skirt along with matching navy blue colored scarf and matching pair of earings,and to give final touch to her look she was wearing kolapuri brown colored chappals that adds the style to the look.She came closer to Jai,saying Hi,he replied,Hi you are looking amazing today.
This new look is suiting you so much.She replied,really,you liked it? He said,I like it,I love it.She smiled saying,this lemon color actually suiting you the best.He said,thanks but I think there's one thing we can change about your look.She gave her puzzled look asking what? He said,may I? She replied, Yes! He came closer put his hand on her hairs,slipping the bun clip out of her bun,opening her long shiny hairs.Then,he adjusted her fringes and said,now it's perfect.She kept blushing.
Jai asked her to skip today's session as he already had practiced a lot before she came and they both should go ahead for the evening.She replied,as you say.He replied,okay let's go,first we should say bye to grandma then it's all set.She asked, what's on the list? He said, wait lady of the eve,so much is on the way.She smiled back.
They both entered into the room,grandma eyes got glittered up seeing both of them together said,Dhwani you are so beautiful,why don't you keep your hairs open,you are looking much prettier in untied hairs.Jai said meanwhile,that's what I have told her but she keeps braiding her hairs.Dhwani replied,okay now it's my birthday eve,stop complaining about me.Three of them shared laugh on it.Miss Rozy entered into the room,complimenting Dhwani,You are looking so beautiful today to which Jai said,Haven't you looked at me Miss Rozy,please someone compliment me also.Miss Rozy laughed saying,you are adorable as always my child.
Grandma said,you guys must be getting late now,please go have fun.Jai looked at Miss Rozy and was about to say something,She cut him.off saying,you don't worry,I'll take care of her,will call you in case of any emergencies and will not leave her alone for even a moment.Now please go and enjoy without any worries.He laughed and replied,you are sweet Miss Rozy.He kissed on grandma's head saying bye to her,while grandma whispered into his ears saying,all the best.He smiled back.Dhwani hugged her before leaving.
They reached parking,Dhwani asked so are you going to drive today? He replied,of course all in your honour and unlocked the car while opening front seat gate for Dhwani saying,please.She smiled saying impressive.Jai sat down,out of curiosity she asked where we are heading tell me,what's the plan? He said fasten your seat belt first, we are going somewhere for a surprise now, and along the way you'll see what's coming next,no more asking it's all surprise okay.She nodded okay playing FM at low volume so they could have good talk on the way.
Jai asked,okay If I am not wrong those doodling in your notebook meant a lot for you,it wasn't random.She replied,you are right Jai.He asked,what exactly it means,It's my papa's dream Jai,he wanted to become famous singer whom people will come to see singing live,but due to lack of resources it wasn't ever possible for him to dive himself into music.He had responsibilities,he went too far with leftover dream,I feel if I would be able to fulfil this,he would be very happy seeing me from somewhere.I know,in constant battle of being the best in singing industry,it's not that easy but I hope someday will come.Jai replied making way into parking of Cyber City,I think someday is here Dhwani.
She gave him.puzzled look,asking what do you mean Jai? Dhwani, we are here for you first live performance,every friday evening, it's an open show in the centre of cyber city and I have booked your slot,so get ready,you are going to live your papa's dream today.She looked at Jai saying,Jai are you serious? He replied opening gate of her side,Yes! I am.She came out of the car said,I am not even ready,I have never performed like this,I can't Jai,I don't think so,I'll be able to perform.Jai hold her hand saying,look at me,your voice is just amazing as you are,trust me,you can do this.She replied,okay but we don't have ukuleli.He said,I never miss anything mam,let me take it out from the back of the car.She smiled.
They went to centre of the cyber city through the beautiful lane decorated with lights and greenery both side,it was all beautiful around like it's most happening place.Music was coming out of the restaurants and bars,everywhere bunch of friends and couples were being seen,it was just an awesome place to be Dhwani said to Jai.He replied,yes it is but the missing thing here is your voice which will make this place more happening.It was huge crowd gathered at the centre as open mic laughter show was going on,it was all laughing everywhere.Jai looked at Dhwani,her face showed her nervousness,he said,Dhwani think about your papa's dream just get yourself ready,it's your day and your moment.I just want you to rock and make this place yours,She closed her eyes remembering her Dad,said after a while how much time we have? He smiled back saying,you have 15 minutes to prepare.Just sing your heart out,she replied,thanks give me few moments,I am coming back from restroom.He showed her the way to restroom of food court.
It was time for Dhwani's show,it has been announced next we have here is Miss. Dhwani for a treat to your ears,you already have enough for your stomachs with laughter everyone laughed and applauded to welcome Dhwani to take the open stage.Jai wished her all the best,she nodded and took her seat in the middle with a mic,she sat down and adjusted her mic and saying,Hi everyone, This is Dhwani,it's my first ever show as it was Dad's dream to perform live in front of so many people was left undue,here I am to make it come true, so this one's is for my Dad who must be watching me from somewhere,they all cheered up her and then it was all silence,she started playing ukulele along with singing the song, -

Everyone started cheering up loud singing along with her like her voice filled the air and was echoing,more people started to gather to see her and few were recording her.It was amazing to such response of the crowd,Jai smiled at Dhwani from the corner.
She then cheered up the crowd saying,and the last one is for all the people here in love,had loved or looking for love,everyone cheered up more loud this time.

Everyone shouted in unison,yes.He counted, 1 2 3.. everyone said all together Happy Birthday to you. He added further,few more fun is on the way,thank you Miss Dhwani,these were wonderful tracks which made our day.Dhwani replied,thankyou everyone for showing much love,before I leave,Can I have applause for the person who actually made this dream possible,asking Jai to share the open stage with her.Everyone made the loud noise for both,Jai thanked everyone.
They went back talking about the show,Jai told her how everyone smiled,got emotional and enjoy her tracks.She thanked him saying,it was wonderful Jai,this was best surprise ever.Jai asked her,you said you aren't ready then how come you made go everything so smooth? She replied,all because of courage and trust you let in me,I quickly planned out every track in restroom and then I was on stage,got nervous seeing so many people staring at me but then I saw you and you smiled at me.It became so easy to do with just your smile.
While talking they reached to the parking,standing taking support on their car,she asked,so where we are heading now? He said,opening gate of front seat,mam sit down,night is still young and you know rule,no questions asked.She smiled back saying,Jai how many more surprises? He smiled back saying,a lot.
